One Book, One College attendees meet author Eric Eyre –


Death in Mud Lick: a fight in the land of coal against the pharmaceutical companies
That Delivered the Opioid Epidemic author Eric Eyre will participate in the
Wednesday, November 17 A book, a college final discussion at 6 p.m. for the
author event.
Eyre will join via Zoom to meet participants as well as respond
community questions.
“He won a Pulitzer Prize for his work which we talked about
and we think it’s an amazing opportunity to meet him for our students,
faculty, staff and the community, ”said Grace Norris, e-resources librarian at the Jacobs Library.
Not only does the subject of the book selected this year provide students with learning opportunities in general health care areas, such as pharmacology,
Emergency medical technicians and nurses, but also benefits those who
studying criminal justice, psychology, counseling, political government,
Journalism, and more.
