The Bronx Toastmasters Club of Riverdale has announced that the club’s next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m., via Zoom, and the committee encourages all of its members in the Northwest Bronx to attend.

The reunion will include speeches from award-winning Toastmaster, Dr. Bekah Yoxthimer, of the Loveland Speakeasy Toastmasters club in Cincinnati, OH. Yoxthmier will deliver the speech, “The Eraser”, which is also his entry into the organization’s International Speech competition. Club members will also have the chance to hear a speech from new member, Dylan Cosgrove. Meanwhile, Anne Leighton, also scheduled to deliver a prepared speech on the night, will share her networking secrets.

The club committee said their last meeting on March 9 included a talk from Zenobia Kelly about cats, and another from Leighton who talked about bringing Toastmasters to the community, and vice versa. During the meeting, the members also provided feedback to Adam Cole, who entered the club’s district finals for Best Comedy and International Speech Contest.
